ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRUCTION AND REMEDIATION On-Base Containment Wall Construction of a soil-bentonite groundwater cutoff wall using in-situ deep soil mixing (DSM). The DSM wall was 1,329 feet in length with a total facial area of approximately 104,773 square feet and a maximum depth of 90 feet. Equipment used in installing the cutoff barrier consisted of a DSM rig mounted on a 150 ton crane, batch plant, and other earthwork equipment.
