ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRUCTION AND REMEDIATION Shallow Soil Mixing/Vapor Extraction At this MGP site, Geo-Con pretreated soils injecting hot air through the parts of the auger. Emissions were controlled/contained with a negative pressure shroud that collected vapors. The vapors were transported to a filtering system that removed dust and vapors. Upon completion of the soil pretreatment, a lime grout was injected through the auger to stabilize/solidify the treated soils.
