GEOTECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION Deep Soil Mixed Wall The project involved installation of a 2,100' long x 55' deep - Deep Soil Mixed (DSM) wall to provide for excavation of the installation of a new sanitation tank farm. Wide-flanged beams were installed to 55' using an auxiliary crane and vibratory hammer. The work included drilling adjacent to an underground functional operating system (pipes, valves, etc.).
