Geo-Con served as subcontractor to J.H. Parker Construction Company for installation of an approximately 140,000 sf, 3 foot wide, 30 foot deep soil-bentonite slurry cutoff wall along a portion of the bank of the Mississippi River (loess soils) to eliminate groundwater seepage. Equipment utilized in constructing the cutoff wall consisted of a Cat 245 hydraulic excavator, Cat D-6 LGP bulldozer, slurry batch plant, slurry pumps, and various earthmoving equipment.
