As president of Geo-Con, Mr. Jasperse oversees all company functions: Operations, Finance, Administration, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Marketing and Business Development. He has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years; with the last 15 primarily in the environmental remediation field. Mr. Jasperse is a recognized expert in vertical barriers, wetlands enhancement, soil improvement, in-situ mixing and has a strong technical background in other remediation and geotechnical processes.
Prior to his appointment as President, Mr. Jasperse served as Geo-Con's Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, Mr. Jasperse provided technical input to the design, planning and execution of complex remediation, wetlands and geotechnical projects at sites nationwide. He also directly oversaw day-to-day remediation and civil activities of multiple sites, including addressing and resolving design, technical and operational issues.
Mr. Jasperse has managed the construction of hundreds of vertical barrier projects utilizing many different methods. He was a leader in the development of Deep Soil Mixing in the United States and oversaw the design, fabrication and use of the first U.S.-made deep soil mixing equipment. He continues to promote and implement innovative, cost-saving containment and treatment barriers for environmental remediation, as well as civil geotechnical applications.
Mr. Jasperse's extensive construction experience is augmented by his education. He is an honors graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He also holds Professional Engineering Registrations in VA, NC, DE, DC, PA, WV, NY, NJ and MD. Additionally, Mr. Jasperse has authored numerous technical papers, and is a member of ASTM, ASCE and NSPE.
