WETLANDS CONSTRUCTION
Marsh Resources, Inc.
Wetlands Mitigation Site
Carlstadt, New Jersey
Low and high marsh habitat was created by the mechanical excavation of more than 150,000 cubic yards of spoils from over 120 acres of wetlands. The excavated spoils were used to create upland habitat on-site. Tidal channels were hydraulically excavated to allow the newly created low and high marsh areas to experience tidal flushing and to create open water areas. All work was completed in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120
